The Richardt Chair is inspired by fluid forms and the organic contours of nature. The juxtaposition of tubular steel with the warm and heavy canvas cover creates a unique relationship between the two components — a balance of opposites that Frama’s design approach embraces.

The result is a durable and comfortable easy chair with a distinctive design language. A nod to the Bauhaus movement, the Richardt Chair celebrates both form and function.

Influenced by a common principle of symmetrical geometry, the Richardt Chair attempts to communicate an individual artistic vision that combines aesthetics with purpose. Designed to integrate effortlessly into any habitable space, natural landscape, or urban setting, the Richardt Chair only becomes more beautiful with each passing year. The furniture’s longevity is greatly extended by the brushed stainless steel where side bars are bended in one singular tube and no joints are to be found.

This continuity protects the piece from corrosion and offers a maintenance-free finish. The casual expression of its strong, durable, and naturally antistatic canvas creates a naturally effortless seating experience.

Designed by Frama - an interiors and product design studio based in Copenhagen. The studio is a dynamic testing ground for new designs and projects, embodying their classical, yet boundary-pushing approach.
