  • From the Void is a series of wall sculptures inspired by the concept of the beginning of time. The original ceramic work has been adapted in the cementitious stone composite for the Hathor Collection exhibition to reflect the ideas, the sense of awe and wonder Mari has experienced in her own visit to Egypt.

    The Void in the title refers to the state of ‘no-time’ - out of which time has come, and with it the birth of a point of perception and everything else that constitutes the dance of life manifested that we experience.
