Designed as a study on the properties of glass, these hand-blown vases shift in color from opaque to transparent in three moody colors.
The name "Troll" comes from Theodor Kittelsen's painting "Nokken," where an eerie water spirit rises from the dark waters of a forest pond. Designers Anderssen & Voll used this painting as inspiration, and illustrate how the thickness of the glass affects the intensity of its color: the opaque, solid base shifts into a transparent, bubble-like top. Available in four sizes and three colors.
Designed by Anderssen & Voll for Danish design company Menu.
