Vintage Ethiopian Jimma Chair
Ethiopian Jimma chair, carved from a single trunk of wood.
The Jimma People did not use glue, nails, or joinery in making these spectacular throne chairs. The artist and the exact date are unknown, however, the chair likely dates to the first half of the twentieth century.
