A simple, streamlined and sculptural series, constructed from untreated aluminum.
Aluminium can be difficult to weld and screw. With that in mind, a riveting/tenon technique was developed for what is now called the 'Rivet Series.' The straightforward design is laser cut and hammered by hand, which puts it in a category between craftsmanship and industrial production.
Designed by Jonas Trampedach for Frama - an interiors and product design studio based in Copenhagen. The studio is a dynamic testing ground for new designs and projects, embodying their classical, yet boundary-pushing approach. -
